| The division between the useful arts and the fine arts must not be understood in too absolute a manner. In the humblest work of the craftsmen, if art is there, there is a concern for beauty, through a kind of indirect repercussion that the requirements of the creativity of the spirit exercise upon the production of an object to serve human needs.

| The main purposes of the club are |

To foster an appreciation of music and fine arts as an essential ingredient of an educated person.

To encourage the talented to develop their gifts with a view to contributing creativity to the enhancement of the arts.

To give students and faculty opportunity to explore the theory and practice of performance in its many manifestations such as in music and fine arts
