ENGLISH CLUB

The English club was established in the year 2008 to provide an exciting and unique opportunity for the students to explore the realm of English, especially for their professional growth. All interested language lovers of ACET are the members of the club which acts as an optimistic aspect that helps to build motivation with entertainment in students and also offers the opportunity to meet and talk about the language horizons.

The club also functions as a meeting point to

Focus on the language acquisition for employability.
Facilitate relaxed atmosphere of friendly competition.
Provide excellent opportunity to master English

The following activities were organized in the academic year 2008-09

The English Club along with the department of English organized a seminar on “Soft Skills” on 27th September 2008.
An Oratorical Competition was conducted for I and II year B.E./B.Tech students on 15.04.2009.
A Quiz Competition was conducted for II year students on 26.2.2009.
Cast Spell and Pronunciation Competition was conducted for I year B.E. and B.Tech students on 31.3.2009.
