| National Service Scheme is a novel experiment in academic extension. It inculcates the spirit of voluntary work among the students and a teacher through sustained community interaction and brings the academic institutions closer to the society. National Service Scheme is an innovative programme that brings the Technical Education System closer to the social realities and community concerns. In this academic year 2011-2012, various activities were carried out. |

- Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
- Develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities.
- To apply our education in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
- Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes.
- Develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility

- Create awareness about blood donation and organize a blood donation camps
- Hands on training for government school children to enhanced their computer learning.
- To conduct a Special camp (7 days)
- Conduct Eye screening camp in our campus
- Awareness and importance of female babies to the society
- Tree Plantation inside and outside campus
- Conduct AIDS awareness programme
- Conduct rally on “Abandoning plastic bags.
- Awareness and importance of environmental safety.
