The pre-requisite for admission to ACET is a pass in the twelfth standard of Tamilnadu H.S.C (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognized by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In case of direct admission to the second year (Lateral Entry), the candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamilnadu or an equivalent examination.

Number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admission to B.E/B. Tech Courses are as per AICTE and State Government norms.

Application for admission to courses should be made in the prescribed application form which is available along with the prospectus in the admission office.
