The Department of Science and Humanities comprises English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Highly advanced multimedia language laboratory provides facilities to students to hone their communication skills through trained use of graphics, video as well as audio facilities. The Physics lab is equipped with laser source, fiber kit and forbidden energy gap kit. The Chemistry lab is furnished with UV-Spectrophotometer, Digital conductivity meter, Digital Potentiometer, PH Meter, Viscometer, Flame Photometer, etc.

The Department strives to enhance the language skills of engineering students to make them perfect professionals, by offering a platform to express themselves both orally and in writing. With the help of the multimedia language laboratory, the department develops the communication skills of students by providing a challenging and exciting academic experience for the students. Faculty members of the department are devoted scholars who are passionate about teaching and assisting students academically and personally throughout their career.

The department is dedicated and focused towards providing   guidance and intensive coaching to the students to enlighten their Knowledge in the field of Mathematics to deal with any real time problems of industry. The department supports and co ordinates with other departments in various academic activities and involved in the developmental activities of the institution. It is endowed with well- qualified faculty members and it has plans to improve the placement opportunities for the students through the rich experience of faculty members who have exposure in latest developments in Mathematics.

Physics laboratories can play a key role in the education of engineering students.Laboratory programmes should be stimulating,revealing and rewarding, though many fall short of these ambitious aims. Much has been written on improving physics laboratories for physics and science students, but far less on physics laboratory work for engineering students.Both qualitative and quantitative evaluation data suggest that the new programme better serves the needs and expectations of engineering academics and students.

• CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is one of the sciences which inspire Engineers to innovate materials and methods continuously for meeting the requirements of this competitive world. We have set up this Laboratory to enable the students to understand the applications of Chemistry in Engineering and Technology.

• Lab Facilities

The Advanced Chemistry Laboratory aims to introduce modern experimental methods in chemistry.The experimental means and scientific problems dealt with in the laboratory reflect the most current research and diagnostic tools in modern experimental chemistry. Laboratory exercises are strongly supported by the evidence, while there needs to be a radical re-thinking of the use of laboratory manuals, with assessment being explored afresh. The lab will provide abundance opportunities for the students to know the ways and means of achieving clean environment.
