- Discipline in the hostel will be under the control of the Warden and Deputy Warden.
- Residents and their guests are forbidden to enter the kitchen.
- Students should not remain in the hostel during the class hours and at other times when their presence is expected in the Institution except with the permission of the warden/Deputy Warden for genuine reasons.
- Students whose names are removed from the rolls of the Institution shall forfeit hostel accommodation and must vacate the room forthwith; Staying in hostels without authorization is a strictly prohibited action.
- Residents and day scholars should not come to the rooms during free hours when the Institute is in session.
- Whenever inmates are leaving the hostels, they must enter their names, time of leaving and the purpose in the “OUT” register available at the gate and on their return, they must enter the time of their arrival in it.
- No student of first year should be found in senior student’s room or vice versa, for whatever reason.
- No phone calls (incoming/outgoing) will normally be encouraged during study hours. Any calls of an emergency/inevitable nature will need to be justified to the authorities.
- Any one found guilty of ragging or preventing others from attending classes is liable to be expelled from the hostel and institute immediately.
- No student can leave the hostel for any reason without the written permission of Warden/Deputy warden. In addition, if the students including day scholars, who want to go out during regular class/lab hours, tea/lunch interval, they should also enter the details and sign in the register at the Institute’s main gate. Incase, prior permission has obtained to leave the campus, the fact should be indicated in the register.
